Doctors, nurses, and public health officials agree: carbon pollution spewing from power plants fuels global warming, which threatens our health through dirtier air. Left unchecked, the deterioration of air quality triggers asthma attacks, heart attacks and other fatal diseases.

Lisa Jackson, the Obama Administration's EPA Administrator, is proposing limits on industrial carbon pollution from new power plants – and they want to hear from the public before deciding to take action.

These new clean air standards would help protect public health and grow our economy by creating new jobs and industries in clean technologies. But big corporate polluters are spending millions on TV ads, lawsuits, and lobbyists to stop them.
